Write to us here and it becomes a ticket you can follow, rather than an email you have to hope arrived.
Already a customer? Opening a ticket from inside the dashboard attaches your account and, on paid plans, priority.
Where to send what
The form above is the fastest route for anything: it opens a ticket, hands you a reference number, and gives you a link to follow the answer without an account. If you would rather write an email, these reach the same queue.
- Support — support@shortfreeurl.com. Choose Something is broken or the area involved so it is routed first time.
- Migrating from another platform — migrate@shortfreeurl.com. Tell us how many links and which platform, and we will plan the DNS cutover with you.
- Billing, invoices and GST — billing@shortfreeurl.com.
- Abuse reports — use the abuse form, which does not need an account. Every report is read by a person.
- Security disclosure — security@shortfreeurl.com. See the security page for what we ask of a reporter.
- Privacy and data requests — privacy@shortfreeurl.com, or the form above. What we do with a request is set out in the privacy policy.
- Legal and takedowns — legal@shortfreeurl.com.
- Press — press@shortfreeurl.com. Naming and logo rules are on the press page.
What happens to your message
It becomes a numbered ticket in the same queue the dashboard writes to, so nothing lands in a personal inbox and nothing gets lost in a thread. You get a reference like MS-1042 and a private link to the conversation — keep it, because anyone holding that link can read and reply to the ticket.
Response times
We aim to answer within one business day, and sooner on paid plans. Abuse and security reports are triaged the same day they arrive, every day. If something is down, the status page is updated before the tickets are answered — it is built from automated checks, so it is usually ahead of us.
Before you write
The documentation answers most setup questions, and the FAQ covers plans, domains and migration. If the answer is there, you will get it faster than we can type it.
