Reach link creation from Copilot through a Power Automate flow or a custom connector over our REST API.

What it does with ShortFreeURL

No Copilot-specific code exists here. The practical route is the one Microsoft already provides for any HTTP service: a Power Automate flow or a custom connector built from our OpenAPI document, which Copilot can then call.

That means the honest work is on the Microsoft side — we supply the API, the key and the description of it.

Setting it up

  1. Create an API key under Integrations → API.
  2. Import GET /api/openapi.json as a custom connector, or build a Power Automate flow with an HTTP action.
  3. Store the key as the connector's Authorization header value.
  4. Call it once and confirm the link appears in your links table.

What data moves

Where this comes from: Our side: the REST API and /api/openapi.json. Nothing Copilot-specific is implemented.
