What it does with ShortFreeURL
The dedicated n8n card stores its Production Webhook URL securely, signs each selected event and records the delivery response. n8n's HTTP Request node calls our REST API for actions in the other direction.
If you self-host n8n this is often the least friction of any automation platform, because both halves are generic nodes and there is no marketplace listing in the way.
Setting it up
- Create an API key under Integrations → API.
- In n8n, add an HTTP Request node: POST to /api/links with the key in the Authorization header.
- For events, add an n8n Webhook node and paste its Production URL into Integrations → n8n.
- Press Send test on the n8n card and confirm the execution shows up in n8n.
What data moves
- Out: signed link and domain events POSTed to your n8n webhook URL.
- In: link creation and updates from the HTTP Request node.
- Auth: an API key outbound; an HMAC signature on everything we send you.

Questions
Do I need to verify the signature in n8n?
You should. Compute HMAC-SHA256 of the raw body with your signing secret in a Function node and compare it to the signature header.
