Five Zapier automations worth building around short links
Concrete recipes, not a feature list.

1. Auto-shorten every new blog post
RSS or CMS webhook triggers a link creation with the post title, a slug derived from it and the right UTM template. The short link lands back in a spreadsheet ready for social scheduling.
2. Push every new link into a shared sheet
A row per link with creator, destination, tags and date. It gives non-dashboard people visibility and gives you a backup of your link inventory that anyone can search.
3. Alert a channel when a launch link takes off
Watch clicks on a specific link and post to Slack when it crosses a threshold. Far more useful than a dashboard nobody has open on launch day.
4. Create a link for every new CRM deal
A tracked proposal link per deal, written back to the CRM record. When the prospect opens it you know, and the click sits on the deal timeline rather than in a separate tool.
5. Generate a QR for every new event
New row in an events sheet triggers link creation and a QR download, filed straight into the folder your designer works from.
Build them to fail loudly
Add an error path that notifies a human. Silent automation failures are how a campaign goes out with an empty link — the most expensive kind of bug in marketing operations.
