Zapier

A scoped key plus the exact trigger and action URLs to paste into a Zap.

Connector available. Follow the setup guide and verify access to your provider account from the dashboard.

What it does with ShortFreeURL

Connecting Zapier in the dashboard mints an API key scoped for automation and prints the trigger and action URLs, ready to paste: polling triggers for new links, new clicks and new conversions, and actions to create, update and delete a link or read its statistics.

To be exact about what this is: there is no ShortFreeURL app listed in the Zapier directory yet. You wire it up with Zapier's generic webhook and HTTP request steps using the URLs we print. Everything you need is on the connection screen, and it works today.

Setting it up

  1. Open Integrations → Zapier in the dashboard and press Connect. A scoped key is created for you.
  2. Copy a trigger URL — for example the new-link poll — into a Zapier webhook trigger step, with the key as the Authorization header.
  3. For actions, use an HTTP request step pointed at the create, update or delete URL shown on the same screen.
  4. Run the Zap once. The key's last-used timestamp updates, which is how you confirm the call arrived.

What data moves

Where this comes from: src/services/integrations.js (zapier provider, automationCatalogue) and GET /api/zapier in src/routes/api/index.js.

Questions

Is there a listed Zapier app?

Not yet. The connection gives you a scoped key and the exact URLs, which you use from Zapier's webhook and HTTP steps.

How often do triggers poll?

That is set by your Zap. Deduplicate on the id (links and conversions) or the click id, both of which we return.
